Police appeal after uncovering illegal dumping site
Junee Shire Police have uncovered an illegal dumping site on Old Sydney Road this afternoon.
An amount of recyclable and plastic waste was located during a routine patrol through the area, targeting rural crime.
A male from Cootamundra has been connected to the incident.
Police have begun their investigation with legal proceedings expected to soon follow.

A spokesperson for the police released a statement calling on the community to take great effort in maintaining the town’s resistance to this sort of behaviour.
“Let’s keep our shire tidy. If you see someone dumping rubbish on the side of the road, contact Junee Police or Crime Stoppers.”
