Last week Junee police were busy dealing with a shoplifter, a driver not complying with their provisional licence and a drug bust.

A WOMAN has been caught by police wearing a stolen item of clothing from a local store. The 43-year-old came under police suspicion for her behaviour and then was found wearing a top worth $80 from a clothing store in Junee. The woman was issued a criminal infringement notice for goods in custody, which will appear on her criminal record. The top was recovered by police and returned to the shop owner.
Not complying with Probationary licence
A RECKLESS driver was pulled over by police and will front Junee Local Court in July. The 23-year-old man tested positive to a breath test. He was issued with a court attendance notice for the offences of aggravated burn-out, not complying with his provisional licence requirements and mid-range drink driving. He is due to appear before the Junee Local Court on July 6.

Police stop and search
A MAN was found in possession of cannabis when he was stopped and searched by Junee police. On Thursday evening police were patrolling the town when they found a 25-year-old man with 3.5 grams of cannabis. He was issued with a caution notice.
Sunday May 27
AN UNLICENSED driver was pulled over and tested for drink driving in the early hours of Sunday morning. The 32-year-old man from Junee tested positive to mid-range drink driving. He was also charged with holding an invalid license.
