Coming off losses to Lake Albert and Young, the premiers fired in five second half goals to take a 5-0 win.
Coach Ryan McKenzie was pleased with how his team delivered after a goalless first half.
“We played a really good second half,” McKenzie said.
“We held our formation pretty well, held possession and it showed when we didn’t panic on the ball and put the ball in the back in the next.”
McKenzie thought his team got back to the basics and it helped as the goals started to flow.
Carl Pideski scored twice while Adam Cesnik, Joel Rainbird and McKenzie all contributed to the win.
Composure was the key in the second half.
“Coming into the second half at nil all it can be a little bit frustrating but we really got back to the basics, held our formation and going forward we did the small things right.”
