A man has died after his car crashed into a tree and caught alight between Nangus and Eurongilly.
Emergency services attended the crash site at 10am on Monday, which was reportedly two kilometres from Eurongilly Hill.
NSW ambulance media confirmed a male driver died at the scene.
“Emergency services attended a single vehicle crash on Gundagai Road outside Junee this morning,” a spokesperson said.
Police and fire services are currently attending the site and investigations are ongoing.
This crash marks the second fatality along Gundagai Road in the past six months.
A woman died in December 2017 along Gundagai Road near Eurongilly after the car she was a passenger in left the road and collided with a tree.
The driver of that car was also taken to hospital with critical injuries.
More to come.
