Rules skipper Barry Belt asked a bit more from his troops and they fashioned a 10-shot unanswered run over the last five ends to win 22-18. Junee’s strongest rink of Jack Cousley, Jeff Chisholm, David Billingham and Allen Shaw, started well leading 11-5 after nine ends, but Andrew Carey of the Rules, fought back to tie the match at 13 with four ends to go. Junee won the next end by three, but eight unanswered shots by the Rules gave them the clean sweep on the day winning 21-16.
