The day was hosted by Junee Business and Trades with the generous help of many sponsor organisations.
Business and Trades president Tony Butt said their 74 entrants caught 54 carp.
“The day went off without a hitch with ideal weather,” Mr Butt said.
“The money raised on the day was approximately $1000, which will go back into restocking Lake Laurie Daley with fingerlings and start the fund to build a barbeque shelter at the lake.”
The lucky winner of the prize for most carp caught was 12-year-old Liam Harbrow, who took home a $300 gift voucher and a hat.
Tom Fitzgerald caught the longest carp, with a mighty catch measuring 56cm.
Other lucky winners included Lachlan Wurtz, Bailey Robertson, Paul Holsworth, Carol Wurtz, Campbell McDevitt, Ashton Harbrow, Brook Smith, Riley Ellem, and Kaiden Londow.
