The 18-year-old scored his first win after combining with Christian Torado for a victory on Junee Pacers Cup night.
Duck has been driving for four months and was thrilled to break through.
“It was a good night,” Duck said.
“It all worked out pretty well and it was pretty exciting.
“It was a good night to win it on.”
Driving for his father Saul, Duck defied the odds to take out the opening race.
Christian Torado was at $42.10 chance in the Aussie Carpet Care Pace (1760m), but was given a perfect drive by the youngest to win his first race since August.
Duck moved from racing without cover to behind the leader to give the seven-year-old a breather and it worked out perfectly as he run past leader Tulhurst Santanna ($1.80 fav) to win by 6.6 metres in a time just outside the track record.
