Riverina Police District (RPD) officers executed a search warrant at a Marquis Street, Junee home shortly before 5.30pm on Tuesday.
As the search unfolded, police uncovered three guns and what they described as a large amount of prohibited drugs, including cannabis and methylamphetamine.
A Winchester .22, a Krico .22 and a Waffenfabric bolt action rifle were seized in the search and, along with the drugs, will undergo forensic testing.
RPD Inspector Robert Vergano said police will continue to target people in Junee they believe are distributing drugs, and has urged members of the community to “dob in those people who are dealing drugs.”
"Drugs like this are destructive and have no place in our rural communities,” Inspector Vergano said.
“I want to reassure the community that if they have information about drug distribution they can call police confidentially.
“(Tuesday’s) operation demonstrates that we will act on information with the aim to reducing drug crime in places like Junee.
“Drug use is not just a police problem; it is a whole-of-community problem.
"The police here will continue to execute similar search warrants throughout Junee targeting those that distribute drugs.”
The raids form part of an ongoing investigation into drugs and property offences right across the Riverina region.
Anyone with information in relation to the supply of prohibited drugs is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the online reporting page.
