Tabatha Lynch knows the secret to selling cars.
The 24-year-old Junee woman was named the best car sales representative for Jeep Australia, two years after she joined Wagga Motors.
Ms Lynch was one of 11 winners and will join her fellow victors on a free trip to the Greek Isles.
It is a win Ms Lynch worked hard to earn, outperforming hundreds across the male-dominated industry.
But it is also a win she said she did not expect.
“I’m very happy,” she said. “It’s feels pretty ridiculous but it’s cool.”
She said one of the biggest keys to success in the business was honesty.
“There always been a perception that dealers can’t be trusted,” Ms Lynch said.
“People aren’t going to spend a lot of money on someone they don’t trust.”
After leaving high school, Ms Lynch launched a small business in Junee.
Three years on, she wanted a career change and turned to car sales at Wagga Motors.
Ms Lynch said she had never liked the idea of a normal job and wanted to work somewhere she could continue to develop and excel.
“I want to be successful and have a success I’m proud of,” she said.
Wagga Motors business director Richard Braid said the team was immensely proud of Ms Lynch’s achievement.
“It is a marvellous effort,” Mr Braid said. “She has obvious put a lot of time and effort into her work.”
