Harpley scored with two horses he trains plus drove Sven Jasper to victory for Jake Stockton.
After an all the way victory, Harpley was impressed with Miss Gold Fortune.
The four-year-old flew out from a wide barrier and was never headed in the LD & LT Sheather Contracting (1755m).
The $1.50 favourite went on to defeat The Mighty Falcon ($19.60) by 7.2 metres.
Coming off two thirds, Harpley has been pleased with her form.
“She hasn’t been going too bad,” Harpley said.
“There is still a few little things to work out with her but gate speed and good draws will keep her in good stead. She went good, got to the line and is getting better all the time.”
It was her first win in over a year.
The mare won four of her first five starts before encountering a leaner streak.
However Harpley has never been too disappointed in the well-bred mare’s performance.
“When I was going through the form I seen that it was nearly to the weekend,” he said.
“It’s how time goes but she didn’t have many starts after that.”
The daughter of Christian Cullen has now won five of 13 starts plus three placings.
Harpley also won with Harps.
Coming off a second last time, Harpley had been disappointed with his attitude, but he put in a tough effort to win the Havashed Indutries Heat 3 (1755m).
Sitting without cover, Harps ($2.10 fav) kept finding to hold off Sunrising ($3.70) to win by 1.3 metres.
“I was pretty happy with him as I knew Sunrising would be the horse to beat,” Harpley said.
“Turning for home if it was between my horse and David Kennedy's I’d said David’s would out tough me but he toughed it out pretty good up the straight and actually got away again on the line.”
Harpley was also impressed with Sven Jasper, who broke through for his first win at start six.
He thought not hanging made the world of difference.
Harpley also picked up a number of placings across the nine-raced card.
He drove Tiwanaku to a third before Roll One Over and Rubies For Tash were both placed in the T-Line Steel Fabrication Pace (1755m).
Sophie Stening completed his string of placings.
