Our fourth grade hosted Rules with Junee again winning two rinks to one.
The combination of Martin Holmes, John Puttock, Ian Cooper and Brett Fanning were on fire, starting strong leading 7 to 1, but a recovery by the Rules combination, skipped by Alan Leonard, tied the match at seven.
The Junee boys were only just getting started, piling on shot-after-shot and end-after-end to cruise to a comfortable 17-shot victory, 29 to 12.
Equally as good were Jock Commins, Bryan Purse, Craig Shaw and Martin Cousley winning well by 12 shots, 28 to 16.
In the final encounter Roy Buckley, Corey Hazell, Warren Charlton and Sean Smith fell just one shot short, losing 20 to 19.

FIFITH Grade returned to Junee and, in a replay of last year’s final, hosted Wagga RSL.
Jack Cousley, Jeff Chisholm, Roy Woodall and Allen Shaw controlled one of the best skips in the district in Peter Haby, streaking to a 12 to 0.
The Haby quartet fought back to trail 13 to 8, but the Shaw team were to strong, finishing the match in style, 25 to 11.
Doug Gee, Mick Poole, Jed Passlow and Robert Minister were in better form than the previous week, winning 17 to 16. In the final match Lyle Billingham, David Billingham, Todd Clark and Kel Seton battled hard but fell short by six shots, 20 to 14.

SEVENTH grade travelled to the The Rock looking to consolidate their fine start.
Down a player, Junee battled hard, but just fell short by four shots.
Junee’s best performed team of the round was Jason Flagg, Glen Fanning, Harry Thompson and Gary Ferrrario, winning 17 to 15.
Leading by a solitary shot halfway through the encounter, Ferrario dug deep with a three shot eighteenth end, 16 to 13.
The Rock won the next two ends to trail by one shot but Junee held on to win.
In an impressive effort Tim Ryan, Brian Smith and Jarrod Smith, down one player and trailing by eight shots with three ends to play scored seven shots to nearly pull off a miraculous victory, but went down 16 to 15.
In the final match Ethan Sainsbury, Liam Paton, Graeme Oehm and Nathan Stanford went down 23 to 18.
