Festival-goers will be able to support the VRA by purchasing raffle tickets at the event, which runs from March 9 to 11.
Rhythm n Rail president Nicholas Pyers said it was fantastic to support an organisation that had supported the festival and the broader Junee community for so many years.
“The VRA do such a wonderful job supporting our local community in times of need,” Mr Pyers said.
“We encourage all visitors to the Junee Rhythm n Rail Festival to support our local VRA squad by purchasing a couple of raffle tickets each – there are some great prizes to be won!”
President of the VRA’s Junee Rescue Squad Melissa Murdoch said the partnership would be of great help in funding the squad’s operations.
“With the ever increasing number of calls for assistance, the cost of maintaining such an organisation is in the thousands per year with maintaining equipment, motor vehicles, training, and insurance,” Ms Murdoch said.
“The squad of highly trained personnel is the first response unit for motor vehicle accidents, animal rescues, and has a dedicated lightning vehicle for emergency situations.”
