THE Junee Evening Branch of CWA started 2018 by giving donations to two much deserving local organisations. Each year the members select local organisations to donate to and last year’s recipients were SES Junee Unit and Open Kitchen.
"It's a great honour to be able to fundraise for local groups that always need extra funds to keep running,” branch president Hannah Kruger said.
“Thanks to all our branch members and the generosity of the Junee community.
“Our branch is always looking for new members. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at the Ex-Services Club starting at 6.30pm."
SES Junee Unit has nine members. If you feel you could be of assistance or would like to improve your skills, drop down to the Bolton Street unit and see what they do! They hold training every Wednesday night from 6.30pm.
Open Kitchen is run every Tuesday during school term at St Luke’s Hall, Denison Street, Junee, from 5.15pm. All welcome to share the fun, food and friendship.
