Noon: School Holiday Pool Party at Junee Recreation & Aquatic Centre. Cost: $5; includes entry to the pool, waterslide and a barbecue. For all ages. Children under nine must be accompanied by an adult.

9.30am: Free four-day Up Skillin It course in cafe skills at Junee High School. For ages 15-25. This tailored training is perfect for anyone seeking a part time or full-time position in a cafe or fast-food outlet. To enrol, phone 6924 4680.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 26
Junee is full of activity this Australia Day, so don't miss out!
7 for 7.30am: Jail Break Fun Run from Junee Correctional Centre, Park Lane. Following a basically flat 3.2km course between the entry to the Junee Correctional Centre in Park Lane and Junee Recreation & Aquatic Centre in Lorne Street. Free entry. A sausage sizzle will be available at the Junee Recreation & Aquatic Centre after the race at a small cost with all proceeds going to charity.
7am: Free entry to recreation centre commences.
8am: Junee Rural Fire Brigade fundraising barbecue.
8.45am: Presentation of minor awards/prizes for fun run.
9.30am: Official Australia Day ceremony at Junee Recreation Centre Stadium.
9.30am: Lions Club tea/coffee & lamingtons in the stadium.
Noon: Free entry to recreation centre finishes
Noon-2pm: Free water slide in operation.
8pm: Recreation centre closes.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 28
