A Junee teenager is refusing to give any details to police after he was stabbed on New Year’s Day.
Police say the 19-year-old arrived at Junee District Hospital about 11.20am, with “a stab wound under his left arm”.
Acting Inspector Nigel Turney said as the teen was known to police, they attended his Queen Street address.
“They found the door to the property open and some blood on the front steps,” Acting Inspector Turney said.
A crime scene was established, however, the teen has refused to reveal who stabbed him, or any other details about the incident.
“Unfortunately with the victim unwilling to come forward and there are no witnesses to the incident, it really can’t go any further at this point in time,” Acting Inspector Turney said.
