The club has been allocated a rare Saturday night meeting on the eve of the festive season and are certain to make it count.
The state is set for a huge night with a bumper nine-race card getting underway at 6.07pm at Junee Showground.
While the racing is sure to be competitive, the club has planned for even more action to be happening off the track.
Junee Harness Racing Club secretary Joanne Judd said the club hopes to make the most of the Christmas meeting.
“Being so close to Christmas the committee thought it was a good opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit with our Party at the Paceway,” Judd said.
“We are thrilled to have DJ Mayn performing and the bar open until late. We have got something for everybody and should be a good family night."
Cheap drinks between some races will be one feature of the night, while the club’s secret tipster will provide racegoers with the best bets for the night.
There will be plenty of off the track entertainment with the popular DJ Mayn. He will continue to perform after the last race with the bar also staying open until late.
Santa Claus will grace the showground and visit the kids, while the club also has some special giveaways with the chocolate wheel.
Best of all, admission to the track is free.
On the track, Junee will be strongly represented throughout the nine-race card.
Trevor White has six of his team racing but has been dealt some difficult tasks due to bad barrier draws.
The best of his chances perhaps is Lauriston Dash, who has drawn gate one in the Trevs Tasty Treats Maiden Pace (1760m).
The four-year-old ran second at Wagga two starts back and will be driven by Chris Judd.
Junee trainers Bruce Harpley, Saul Duck, Terry Judd, Stan Hedlund and Molly Turton will all have runners on the night.
The meeting will lead into a big month of pacing in Junee in January, highlighted by the $14,280 Pacers Cup on January 27.
