The regally bred son of Somebeachsomewhere had been second in his first three starts but put in a dominant display for Junee trainer-driver Bruce Harpley.
The three-year-old led all the way to take out the Young S&C Club Three Year Old Pace (2100m).
The $1.40 favourite was barely extended until the last quarter where he ran home in 28.3 seconds to defeat Studleigh Stride ($30.50) to win by 4.4 metres.
Harpley was pleased to justify the short odds.
“It certainly looked like his race on paper,” Harpley said.
“He is a funny horse as he feels like he's a real bundle of energy but he’s got going and I didn’t mean to go a 34 quarter.
Coming off a second in a Evolution final at Menangle, Harpley is now looking to target some of the upcoming three-year-old Carnival of Cups races.
