The Rock couple took out the first race for the third time in the last four meetings.
After Minderoo and Mareeba broke through for their first wins last month, Coolup followed suit on Friday night.
Jumping well from box eight, Coolup bounced straight to the front and from there was never headed.
She went on to defeat debutant How’s It Scary by two lengths.
It was her first win at start four.
Joanne Smith thought the wide alley suited.
“The eight box suited her and she needed to get a bit of confidence back,” Smith said.
Coming off down the track efforts at Shepparton and Canberra, Coolup was third at Wagga last time out.
With more race experience under her belt, Smith thought she was better suited to racing at Wagga.
“It was a but harder at Shepp but she will win some more races,” she said.
Smith has been pleased with how the kennel has been going lately.
Meanwhile Xtreme Purpose went one better than her kennelmate to take out the second race.
In a much improved effort to last week, she went on to defeat Fantastic Daisy by over two lengths for Junee trainer Matthew Morris.
