In the Women’s Competition, Licorice Hooters overcame a determined Topssip in a very evenly fought game with both sides working extremely hard in attack and defence.  A strike from Kayla Wright was a highlight from 25 metres that powered past the keeper into the back of the net.  

The game saw a lot of precise passing happening, and with slick passages of play from both teams, it was a good spectacle.

Fruit Tingles got the better of Not Today in another close result and both teams worked hard and kept the pressure on both sets of defence.  The interplay between the teams was good with Fruit Tingles shading Not Today and netting twice to take the points.

Riv Turf accounted Scramblers in the final Women’s game and cruised to a solid victory.  The teamwork displayed by Riv Turf could not be matched by Scramblers and the resulting score-line was indicative.  Scramblers got on the board in the last minute after a mix-up in the Riv Turf defence saw a penalty awarded which was converted.

In the Juniors, Rooball match saw  Glory / Mariners play Victory / Wanderers in a very entertaining game with plenty of goals scored.  The effort and determination shown by the Rooballers is infectious and great to see.

In Mini Roos two great games were played with Roar and Real Junee drawing nil all and Juventus scoring 4 to Socceroos 3 goals.  Both games were very even and kept the supporters on their feet.

In Juniors, Ajax and Atletico drew 2 all while PSG overcame Man Unit 3-2 in a very even round.  Great to see the children using their skills to good effect and to also see them enjoying their games.
