Junee Show Society president Peter Commens said the event had large numbers across the board.
“It was a wonderful pavilion with record entries,” he said.
“The ladies marquee was successful and the ring was as good as I’ve seen it in years with a lot of horses.”
Mr Commens said the weather held off for most of the day, with visitors from as far as Albury.
“There was a fair sprinkling of people here – people really stepped up to support us,” he said.
“We've been struggling for a couple of years with our poultry section but this year it’s done really well.”
