Shear 4 Mates, held at the Coolamon Sport and Recreation Club, was a fun-filled family day underpinned by a serious message.
A undoubted highlight of the day was the Shear A Thon, which started at 7.30am and finished some 12 hours later to rapturous applause.
Mental health experts were on-hand to educate the public about the signs someone might be contemplating suicide.
If you or someone you know is struggling with a mental illness, call Lifeline on 13 11 14, or beyondblue on 1300 22 4636.
