The mums and bubs of Junee have gotten behind the high school’s free weekly playgroup.

Year nine and 10 students from JHS are holding the group over four weeks, for kids up to five years old.
21 local children had a ball at the first session.
“Every week the students plan, reflect and create new activities,” child studies teacher Olivia Hounsell said.
“We’re expecting even more kids this week.”
The playgroup has run before and Ms Hounsell said next year the school will be working to run more sessions to get students practical experience with preschool-aged children.
The next group will run on Thursday, September 7 in the MPC from 9 to 10.30 am before the last day next week.
