Cootamundra man Andrew Krause is missing and believed to be injured after his vehicle hit a tree near Bethungra on Tuesday morning.
Wagga police are appealing for assistance to locate Mr Krause, who has not been seen or heard from since 4am.
Inspector Robert Vergano said the 28-year-old made a call to his partner after the people mover he was driving hit a tree.
“We are concerned for his welfare,” Inspector Vergano said.
“Police found evidence of trauma – blood – in the vehicle.”
A mass search involving Ambulance NSW, NSW State Emergency Service, NSW Police and the dog squad is underway.
Anyone who knows Mr Krause’ whereabouts are urged to contact Wagga police.
