Due to the extreme heat the brick-veneer structure is unstable and the no one has been granted access to enter the property, which has been gutted by flames.
Fire services and police from Junee, Coolamon and Wagga and an ambulance attended the fire just before midday today, Tuesday July 11.
Three children were in house at the time, with their grandmother outside in the garden.
All occupants are safe and unharmed.
Parents of the children and owners of the home were at work at the time, but were informed and are now home.
Sgt Nix said the community was in the process of looking after the family, working with the St Vincents de Paul Society and The Community Centre in Junee.
Fire and police investigators will complete an examination to determine cause of the blaze from 9am tomorrow morning.
2.15pm: A house on Walster Street in Junee is believed to have been completely gutted by fire.
NSW Fire and Rescue reported at 1pm on Twitter that they were fighting the fire and all persons were accounted for.
Police and NSW Fire and Rescue were still on the scene at 2.15pm when contacted for comment.
It is believed the fire started shortly after midday and the occupants, believed to be a family with three children, escaped uninjured.
