Bubble, Squeak, Kaia and Balthazar are making a splash in their first day on show. The small huddle of penguins arrived in town from Manly on Friday night.
Keeper Hanna Geeson spent the day in the water with them, making sure they were settling in as they powered through the water around her. The cruisy little penguins were quick to entertain and greet Park visitors, swimming right up to the enclosure’s edge.

Park owner Greg Parker said this was perfect weather for the little penguins to adjust, they thrive in the cool, but they were also resilient creatures.
More little penguins are set to arrive after the breeding season, but these ones were perfect timing for Ballarat Winter Festival fun. They will be on show all year-round.
