Michael Dobson of the Salford Red Devils and Andrew Heffernan of Hull Kingston Rovers went head-to-head in the sixth round of the Challenge Cup at AJ Bell Stadium on the weekend.
Rovers led 14-0 midway through the contest but Salford fought back with a quartet of tries, Dobson sealing the 24-14 win with four conversions.
Dobson’s side will now face West Yorkshire club Wakefield Trinity on June 15 at AJ Bell Stadium.
The competition consists of more than 100 teams from across Europe playing eight knock-out rounds, followed by a final at London’s 90,000 seat Wembley Stadium.
Both Heffernan and Dobson started their careers with the Junee Diesels and spent time with the Canberra Raiders.
