Oczkowski, who was sidelined with a broken leg for most of last season, was cherishing the moment.
“I didn’t even think it was going to go in,” he said.
“I thought it was going way over, I was trying to dink it to Jake (Ploenges) but it just dropped in the top corner.
“Pretty happy with it. Good timing. We’ll take a draw over a loss any day.”
The 3-3 draw was a thrilling match-up.
Junee’s experienced men Lincoln and Adrian Weir and Adrian Merrigan were relentless, able to beat several players at a time, and looked dangerous when they worked off one another.
Henwood Park’s Matt Menser provided Ploenges, who scored two goals, with good service.
The team’s work rate off the ball was impressive, particularly when they were down by a goal.
