William Crighton, who was born and raised in Wagga, will play a free concert at the Locomotive Hotel on December 17 as part of the Riverina Round-up concert.
Crighton was recently listed in Rolling Stone magazine as one of Australia’s hottest rising stars.
In its September edition, the magazine said Crighton “breathes fresh and strikingly vivid life into the umbrous bush of traditional Australian balladry."
He has toured a swag of major festivals in recent months and will support The Beach Boys and The Temptations on their national tour early next year.
To celebrate his spate of festival appearances, Crighton will release his new single Jesus Blues off his highly acclaimed self-titled debut album.
It is accompanied by a startling video that places the singer as a force to be reckoned with.
"It's a song about temptation and questioning everything," Crighton told The Southern Cross.
