The Pink Light Disco, organised by Junee’s Girls Night In committee, raised over $7,000 for breast cancer research and Junee’s Can Assist branch.
Committee member Kerrie Holmes said it was a night to remember.
“Everyone got involved, everyone danced, it was an amazing time,” she said.
“Some of the patrons said it was one of the best ones they’ve been to.”
The night featured numerous musical performances, including a dance routine which starred mayor Neil Smith and councillors Martin Holmes and Bob Callow, who boldly took to the stage in denim short shorts and bright pink suspenders.
Meanwhile, the dance routine performed by Kerrie Holmes, Sharon Higginson, Marie Wright and Terese White to ‘I Will Survive’ received the biggest crowd reaction of the night.
Anyone still wishing to donate to the cause can do so at the medical centre.
