Education Week will be celebrated from August 1 to 5 across the state with the theme “Shared stories, better learning, stronger communities”.
The event will include the best and brightest youngsters from within the Ngumba-Dal Learning Community (Junee and district public schools) during the presentation, as award-winners and young performers take the stage.
Ngumba-Dal Learning Community combines programs and resources to give students in the area unparalleled choice and opportunity.
Education Week is a chance for students, teachers and the community to celebrate those opportunities across all public schools.
Meanwhile, organisers are putting the finishing touches on this year’s Riverina Schoolboys Football Carnival.
The event, which draws thousands of young rugby league players, officials and spectators to the area, will be held on Saturday, August 6 at Laurie Daley Oval, Loftus Oval, Burns Park and Junee Showground.
The action-packed day runs from 9am to 5.30pm with players advised to get there early for a 9am kick-off.
Spectator entry fee is $5.
