There were plenty of opportunities for both sides with the defence and goalkeepers doing their best to keep the ball out of the nets.
Junee suffered a number of injuries with Joe Crowder forced off the field for a short time and John McGilvery awarded a penalty after receiving a knock to the jaw.
The Sharks thought they had a goal in the first half but an off-side call was made and Junee forced Lake Albert back into defence.
Not long after this Junee had a great opportunity with a beautiful strike taken by Dominic Shepherd just sailing over the bar.
Josh Purtell played fantastic game after moving to the back line.
Purtell was brilliant in defence and also made a weaving attacking run up field.
Crowder had another chance to score for Junee but his well-placed shot was stopped by a save from the Lake Albert goalkeeper.
The Sharks scored the game’s sole goal was scored late in the game following a cross to a player right in front of goal.
He slipped through the defence and gave Junee ’keeper Robert Fry little chance.
Jared Baldry and Scott Mutimer both had strong games for Junee, backing up time and again in attack and defence.
Fry was named man of the match.
