Meagan Toohey, 28, pleaded guilty in Wagga Local Court on Monday to attempting to bring 2.09 grams of methamphetamine and six buprenorphine tablets into the facility.
Documents tendered to the court state Toohey was recorded during telephone intercepts agreeing to bring drugs into the centre.
During a strip search, Toohey pulled out three small balloons from her bra concealing the drugs before admitting she was attempting to give them to her boyfriend.
Magistrate Erin Kennedy told the court Toohey was on bail and in breach of a number of suspended sentences when committing the crime.
“I can’t address the concerns for the protection of the community since you’ve failed to obey the law,” Ms Kennedy said.
The case will return to court on December 18 where Toohey will again appear via video link.
