SIX A Side Summer Football last Wednesday saw some very close matches in both competitions with Dirty Squirrels making a great comeback to draw with Egg Plants 2-all in the men’s competition, and Not Today and Topssip playing out a very exciting 4-all draw in the women’s.

Licorice Hooters and Riv Turf was the game of the night with the result going the way of Licorice Hooters 2-0 in a fast paced and strong performance from both teams.
Wolf Pack took the points from a determined Get Plastered 4-0 and this was also a very tight game with the score no real indication of the closeness of the teams.
Fruit Tingles took the points from an improving Scramblers team 5-0 in an entertaining game.
In the juniors, Man United really got going against Atletico and outscored them with 11-1 scoreline. A bit one-sided but early days yet. Both teams worked well together and time will get Atletico on the move.
PSG took the points from Ajax 5-2 in another top game with both sides giving it everything in an effort to score goals. Defence was solid from both and PSG took their chances well.
In Mino Roos, Roar met Juventus with a 4-3 scoreline on the night. Great attacking play from both teams and plenty of sharing the ball around to give everyone a chance.
The Socceroos and Real Junee played out a 4-all draw in the other game and again, both teams played strongly in attack and defence.
In Rooball, Glory/Wanderers were a bit too hot for Victory/Mariners in a very exciting game. There were plenty of goals and the children are really enjoying their football.
