The behaviour of the individuals involved is unacceptable and will certainly not be tolerated by our Club.
A new committee has recently been formed at our AGM and we would like to assure the Junee community that all damage has been repaired and paid for by the players concerned. There will be working bees held at the grounds to repair damage and complete unfinished work which will result in improved amenities.
Our players are extremely remorseful for what occurred and wish they could undo what happened that evening.
A large contingent of our players recently volunteered their time to assist with the You Matter Day event, as well as providing their services for the raffle major prize which was a “four hour gardening backyard blitz”.
Our players will also be involved with the construction of the next stage of the new amenities, which will not only assist with reducing the costs of the construction but give them ownership of the building which will result in the players being proud of what they have achieved.
Our players are extremely remorseful for what occurred and wish they could undo what happened that evening. The work they are putting into our Club both with the repairs and with the Committee since this incident, has shown they are willing to repair the damage caused in more ways than the physical damage.
Our Committee is working hard to secure the success of our Club both for our children and the Junee community.
