Jones then swooped late to take out a Menangle Country Series heat with Resounding.
The mare just ran down Simply Clever.
The second of the Menangle heats was taken out by Sky Diamond for Goulburn trainer Brad Hewitt.
Jones’ girlfriend Ellen Bartley then got in on the action as she drove Confederate Girl to victory.
