The Wolf Pack’s Braiden Philipse, Sean Smith, Lochie Philipse and Haydn Boettcher were named the senior ultimate ninjas, completing the grueling course in 4.04 minutes.
The Alpha Pack, made up of 9 to 10-year-olds Seth Wooden, Lachlan Phillips, Ryan Schultz and Claire O’Rafferty won the junior team challenge, knocking off the course in just 5.24 minutes.
“We did not alter the course at all, the juniors had to do the exact same course, so it’s pretty impressive,” organiser Nicole Barton said.
Ricky Russell was named individual male winner with a time of 2 minutes, 17 seconds and Lauren Goldworthy took out the ladies’ title with 3.55 minutes.
Close to 40 spectators turned up to watch the competitors suffer.
“We’ve never run it before so it was a bit of unknown,” Ms Barton said.
“But we were really happy with the numbers, it was a great success and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.”
Donations are still being tallied with the full amount given to Junee Can Assist to be announced later this week.
