But Junee Ex Services Memorial Club did compete at the Junee Bowling Club with two teams.
Conditions were good, but bowlers found the very fast greens hard to master.
The following week, Junee Ex Services Memorial Club hosted the annual presentation day.
Once again, weather conditions were atrocious.
Only 10 ends could be played before the bowling action was called off.
Everyone adjourned to the club house.
There, they warmed up with some hearty beverages and lunch.
Four Junee Ex Services Memorial Club bowlers travelled to Ganmain, where they again played in some windy conditions.
They did very well, winning one game and losing another.
Helen Fairweather and Dot Considine played their round of Singles Champions on Friday.
Yet again, the weather was not pleasant, with temperatures being very hot.
This was a very close match, with Dot going down by two shots.
Members of Junee Ex Services Memorial Club are asked to note that twilight bowls will be commencing shortly.
Everybody is welcome to have a game.
