The group were entertained by members from many branches with readings and limericks. Judge, Lisa Kells from Wantabadgery, voted Rhonda Widdows’ limerick on North Korea best on the day, with Julie Crerar from Bellarwi winning the best reading. Helen Hillyer, Eurongilly was voted best individual performer with her limericks.
Many branches in Hume Group received their "volunteer of the year award", for being volunteer finalists in the Riverina.
International afternoon was introduced by international officer, Kathy Thompson, who had hung all the wonderful posters of Nepal, done by students from schools in Hume Group. Gail Commens showed a series of slides from Nepal. Kathy thanked all the school students for their participation. The winning entries came from Eurongilly, Temora and Ardlethan.
