What’s on in Junee, September 7, 2017

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 9

9am: Markets on Loftus @ the Factory at the  Junee Licorice Factory, Lord Street on the second Saturday of every month between until 1pm. Barbecue provided by the Junee Motor Club. Funds raised go towards local charities. New stallholders welcome, $10 per site. Contact Dianne 0420 522 638. 

10am: Play Hub at the library until noon. Come along for card making, LEGO building, quiz games, and more. 

11am: Little Groovers on the Green. With Justine Clarke, The Mik Maks and Nay Nay at the Junee Recreation and Aquatic Centre. Tickets $30 otr $125 family of five. 

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11

Noon: Bingo and Hoy at the Junee Senior Citizens Club, Lisgar Street. Cost is $10, bring along a plate of something to share. Contact Barbara on 6924 1980.  

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12

10am: Interactive storytime at the library. 

10.30am: Junee/Illabo Red Cross meet second Tuesday of the month at the Senior Citizens Hall. 

6.30pm: Junee View Club Meeting at  Junee Golf Club on the second Tuesday of each month . Members are passionate about actively contributing to their community while building a network of friendships and having fun at the same time. VIEW is a valued part of The Smith Family and supports its work unlocking opportunities for disadvantaged Australian children so they can realise their potential through education. WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13

11am: Free internet help and training will be held at the Junee Library every Wednesday for adults who would like assistance with information and communication technology. Free event. 

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16 

6.30pm: Junee’s Got Talent variety concert. $20. Or $50 a family, proceeds to charity. Contact 0411 808 313. 

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20

6pm: Junee Evening Branch CWA meet at the Ex Services Club on the third Wednesday of each month at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. All welcome to come along to this informative evening. Light supper provided. Contact Gemma on 0427 429 074.
