The Lions were hit from all sides with goals to Kaitlyn Buck (2), Olivia Howell (2), Ashleigh Goode (4), Keely Hancock (3) and Marissa Ward (2).
“It was a real sloppy sort of game,” coach Adrian Weir said.
“You really want a tough game before the finals to keep the girls fit and working hard.”
He said Wagga United will be tough in the semi, but he’s confident the girls can do it.
“We’ve got to string our continuity through and work on controlling possession of the ball in the middle,” he said.
“Whatever chances we get we’ve got to take them.
“Our defence has been pretty solid all year we’ve just got to finish up front.”
The Jaguars have played United twice this season resulting in a draw and just scraping a 2-1 win.
“They're definitely going to be hard to beat,” Weir said.
Left back Teagan Foley and wing Kaitlyn Buck, who stepped up from reserves to play first grade this season will be absent for the semi and missed on field.
The Jaguars meet Wagga United at Rawlings Park on Sunday, September 3 at 11 am.
