His Salford Red Devils squad play Wigan, who lag well behind the Devils on the Super League table, in the semi this Friday at 11.30pm local time.
The Red Devils took out Wakefield Trinity in a resounding 30-6 victory just over a month ago to qualify for the prestigious European knockout tournament’s semi.
After the win, Dobson said he would try and keep a clear mind for their regular season Super League challenges.
“You try to put it out of your mind for the time being but it’s always going to start creeping back in as you get closer and closer to the game,” he said.
Their Super League performance since has been mixed, with two wins and four losses knocking the squad down to 4th on the table.
If they can take out Wigan, the Junee local will run before 90,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium.
