The intensive program run by Footsteps had students up and moving for 40 minute sessions of dance and song.
School principal Diana McGregor said the creative and performing arts are a core focus area for the school.
“It’s very creative, with lots of movement to get the children really involved,” Ms McGregor said.
“The kids have had a ball.”
All the students cool new moves will be on show at a disco on Thursday night.
The program comes as kids and teachers gear up for Education Week, from July 31 – August 4.
JPS will host an open day on Thursday allowing parents and the public to experience a literacy group, followed by a whole school assembly and performances from students.
