Tables will fill a dark-lit Athenium on Saturday August 19, with all proceeds donated to the Junee Community Centre.
Two of the studio’s adult dance troupes will bring feathers and frills to the stage for a night of fun and audience participation, performing six routines.
The girls took a vote on which charity to support, electing to help fund the Community Centre.
Studio principal Shannon Oke said she hopes the big winter charity event could become an annual affair.
“It’s nice and cold and people want to get together and have fun,” she said.
The studio is hoping to raise $1000 for the Community Centre through ticket sales, which include an entree, main and desert.
Ms Oke said dancers from the SDJ Cabaret Troupe and Senior Performance Troupe are busy in rehearsals and are set to bring a “happy and exciting” atmosphere to the Athenium.
The night will feature racy performances from Deputy Mayor Matt Austin and Matt Olsen as well as recruiting a “brave audience member” to the stage.
The tracks for routines have been chosen from musicals. So Dance Junee recommends mature audiences but children are welcome.
