A MAN charged with murder over the stabbing death of Junee man Daniel Murdoch did not apply for bail in Wagga Local Court this morning.

Tristan James Lee, 28, was arrested on Tuesday after he went to the Wagga police station, hours after 37-year-old Mr Murdoch died.
After being interviewed by detectives, Lee was charged with murder and remanded in custody overnight.
His case was the first mentioned in court this morning by police prosecutor Jasmin Carr.
The court was told Lee would not be applying for bail.
Magistrate Michael Crompton asked what the position was with the case.
“We are just seeking standard orders for the brief (of evidence),” Lee’s solicitor replied.
“Do you want your client on the (videolink) screen?” Mr Crompton asked.
“No, your honour,” the solicitor said.
Mr Crompton ordered the brief of evidence to be served by June 14 and adjourned the case to June 28 for the defence to reply to the brief.
The mention lasted less than a minute.
No plea was entered.
Emergency services were called to French Place, Tolland, about 3.45am on Tuesday and found Mr Murdoch with a stab wound to his left leg.
He was treated at the scene, but died a short time later.
It is believed Mr Murdoch was stabbed while in a park between French Place and Toy Place before he stumbled into French Place and collapsed in a driveway.
