9am: Markets on Loftus @ the Factory at the Junee Licorice Factory, Lord Street on the second Saturday of every month between until 1pm. Barbecue provided by the Junee Motor Club. Funds raised go towards local charities. New stallholders welcome, $10 per site. Contact Dianne 0420 522 638.
SUNDAY, MAY 14
11.30am: Mother’s Day Music in the Park in the Memorial Park, Peel Street, presented by Junee Town Band. Bring your mum, bring your nan, bring your family, bring along your picnic rug/chairs and listen to some music presented by the town band. Tickets for the Mother’s Day raffle will be available to buy with the prize being drawn at the conclusion of the concert. Sausage sandwiches will also be available to buy for $2.
MONDAY, MAY 15
Noon: Bingo and Hoy at the Junee Senior Citizens Club, Lisgar Street. Cost is $10, bring along a plate of something to share. Contact Anne Ridley on 0488 429 163 or Barbara on 6924 1980.
TUESDAY, MAY 16
Biggest morning tea: Junee Senior Citizens Club, Lisgar Street. Cost: $5, which will go to the Cancer Council. Morning tea and refreshments provided. Organised by the Junee Senior Citizens Club and Junee Community Centre.
10am: Interactive storytime at the library.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 17
11am: Free internet help and training will be held at the Junee Library every Wednesday for adults who would like assistance with information and communication technology. Free event.
6pm: Junee Evening Branch CWA meet at the Ex Services Club on the third Wednesday of each month at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. All welcome to come along to this informative evening. Light supper provided. Contact Gemma on 0427 429 074.
