Junee’s first grade women are determined to claim their first win of the season on Sunday week after victory alluded them during the first two rounds of Leonard Cup action.
But head coach Adrian Weir conceded it was difficult to prepare for his side’s next clash due to having minimal intel on upcoming opponent Leeton.
“We really haven’t heard much about Leeton at all,” Weir said.
“Because we have no idea what to expect, we’ll just be expecting the worst.”
Jaguars are coming off a 1-1 draw, having faced South Wagga at Burns Park on Sunday.
The Warriors struck the opening blow, before Junee’s Nastarsha Miller tied the match in the second half with a confidence boosting finish.
The home said then managed to grind out the stalemate.
Jaguars will enjoy a week of rest this weekend before facing Leeton at Burns Park on Sunday week.
