The local side burst out of the gates on Saturday, winning 70-57 overall at The Rock.
The hand picked rink of Corey Hazell, Craig Shaw, Brett Fanning and Sean Smith went down by four shots.
Down 16-15 after 17 ends, they were a chance to win, but eventually lost 21-17.
Martin Holmes, Billy Seton, Ian Cooper and Warren Charlton were victorious with a convincing eight shot victory, winning 29 - 21.
Taking control of the game in the middle section, the Charlton quartet scored fifteen unanswered shots to lead 21 - 8.
The Rock's Waterhouse's team fought back to trail 24-19, but Charlton consolidated and went on to a strong victory.
Jed Passlow, Allen Shaw, Bryan Purse and Martin Cousley were the team of the round, leading from the outset with a dominating nine shot victory, 24-15.
Getting away to a 6-0 lead they were never behind and put their stamp on the victory with a six shot 14th end.
But Junee couldn’t continue its promising early form when it backed up for its second game in two days at home on Sunday.
They went down to Coolamon 65-54.
Jed Passlow, Allen Shaw, Bryan Purse & Martin Cousley were competitive but a costly six shot 19th end sealed their fate, with the Ricky Whybro quartet beating Cousley by nine shots, 28-19.
Martin Holmes, Billy Seton, Ian Cooper and Warren Charlton were competitive all game, but a four shot end to Coolamon on the final end proved costly, the Junee quartet losing 22-16 overall.
In the final rink, Corey Hazell, Brett Fanning, Craig Shaw and Sean Smith were in form and the only winning Junee rink of the round, leading 8-4 after eight ends.
They were never overtaken, extending their lead to 15-9 after fourteen ends and eventually winning 19-15.
