Seary took the David Eurell-trained mare from near the rear of the field before she came away from her rivals for a 5.5-metre win.
Picking up the drive for the final, Seary was able to reverse last week’s heat with Gotta Bewitched ($4.10) defeating Dollarbill ($7.30).
It was the four-year-old’s 12th win to go with a further 12 placings in 28 starts.
Seary, who has only been racing for about ten months, said the victory was the highlight of his young career.
“It was a great feeling to win it,” he said.
“Especially because I haven’t been driving for very long,” he said.
“It’s the biggest race I’ve won so far for sure.”
Seary said the dramatic nature of the race only added to his excitement in the heat of the moment.
“When I was sitting midfield or even towards the back of the field, a few in front of me were starting to get tired and I thought I’d just get moving,” he said.
“Gotta Bewitched is a great horse, she did a lot of the work and made me look pretty good.
“It was certainly a confidence booster to win that race.”
Seary is set to drive Gotta Bewitched once again at Junee on Saturday.
The young reinsman said his primary focus was simply to build on the positive momentum he generated last week.
The first race at Junee will begin at about 6.30pm with bar, food and TAB facilities available.
