The word is there were more than 1000 people there, many families and fabulous stalls. What a huge effort and thank you for including us.
We had many walk in for cakes and teas to the Athenium. New people to town showed a great interest in the theatre, we would love them to attend.
Meetings are first Thursday of the month meeting at 6pm in the Athenium.
We hope to apply for positions in Cootamundra's successful ARTSNSW Grant or Theatre Skills Workshops in 2017.
The Athenium also has the Junee Choir, which meets at 6pm every Monday and the town band, which would welcome new members.

Forcing me to think
MR GEOFF Field's letter made me think.
Mr Field expressed strong views about multiculturalism, immigration and terrorism; he linked the two policies with the incidents and dangers of local terrorist events.
It was not so much this reasoning that disturbed me as his advocacy of 'another Donald Trump'.
I believe the 'Trump phenomenon' is particularly dangerous, more dangerous in its far reaching consequences than terrorism itself.
Mr Trump's election is a triumph of sloganeering, simplistic solutions and refusal to think.
Unfortunately, this is not simply an American problem; we already have our own 'Trump Phenomenon'.
'Stop the boats', 'jobs and growth', 'don't trust Malcolm Turnbull, Bill Shorten, Pauline Hansen, the Greens…' Don't think! Don't discuss! Don't learn anything!
Thank you, Mr Field. You made me think.

Politics by stealth
LET’S take a closer check of the three most controversial issues plaguing our society.
All three should never have been allowed to be entered into without first consulting the Australian people via a referendum.
Multiculturalism has been foisted onto us in an underhanded way.
It’s about pacifying a handful of do-gooder bleeding hearts and has now come back to haunt us.
Geoff Field’s letter to the editor is spot on in everything he said in reference to multiculturalism.
The same logic applies to same sex marriage, which cannot rightfully be allowed to proceed without the Australian people's say so.
This is due to how our marriage laws are cemented in our constitution and are not subject to change. This is why the gay community shies away from this legal fact and are pushing for the government to make the decision.
Malcolm Turnbull knows this but he also should know that a plebiscite is not legally binding and therefore is a no-win situation and a waste of taxpayers’ money pursuing it.
Then we have the Safe Schools gender fluidity program. This is one of the most deceitful programs of all.
Such orchestrated mischief has added yet another clause by advising hundreds of schools signed up to it to remove their school names off the list so that concerned parents are unable to determine which schools are peddling this propaganda.
The government is leaving itself open to legal proceedings against them.
This also applies to those who instigated this cause and all who have aided and a abetted it along the way.
