It comes after former cricket coach and organiser Jack Charlton rekindled the local competition.
Four teams will compete in the primary competition, which is for boys and girls aged seven to 12.
Kanga cricket will commence simultaneously for those aged five to seven.
Matches begin at 9am on Saturday at Loftus Oval.
Mr Charlton has urged parents to help with umpiring and scoring.
